Our Children

Our children spend their days playing outside and in. The nursery and forest school uses play as a medium for education and understanding. We believe that this allows our children not only to learn in a fun and safe environment but allows them to play as much as they want.

Our Forest School

By playing outside, our children learn motor, communication, and social skills from a young age. They interact with nature as well as one another. From parents evenings with campfires, to building dens in our copse, the children have a rich and fulfilling time here at our forest school.

Our Nursery

Not only do children at our nursery play outdoors but they play and learn indoors too. Be that puzzles, dough, or toys; our children enjoy a wide range of methods to help them learn and have fun.

Gardening

We find that the children truly enjoy helping in the garden, and that the parents enjoy taking home food that their little ones have grown. Tending the vegetable patch teaches children where food comes from as well as developing both motor and communicative skills.

Forest School Activities

The outdoor education of our children takes many forms. We build dens, find local wildlife, play in our natural surroundings, and so much more. Set in our large garden, 5 acre field, and 2 woods (one bluebell copse and the other a 1.5 acre wood) our children love the outdoors.
